Ligature  Awareness  and Emergency Response e-learning

Our Ligature Awareness and Emergency Response E-Learning course provides essential training for staff who may support people at risk of self-harm, suicide or ligature incidents. The course develops awareness of ligature risks, common environmental hazards and the importance of recognising and responding promptly to an emergency.

Designed for health, social care, mental health, education and supported living services, this online ligature awareness training helps staff understand their responsibilities before, during and after a ligature-related incident. It promotes proportionate risk awareness, safer environments and an effective emergency response while reinforcing the importance of following local policies, individual risk assessments and organisational emergency procedures.
